ModSecurity module helps to protect your website from various attacks. If ModSecurity is disabled on your account, your website will be at risk from vulnerabilities.

Some configurations set via this firewall can block Elementor from working correctly. We have also noticed that at times ModSecurity updates take longer to come through and when working can suddenly stop working.

Whilst we always recommend having ModSecurity enabled where possible, we do understand that it can cause issues. At Creative Ground, we have additional Firewalls in place to protect your website so should you wish to turn ModSecurity off because you are facing Elementor issues, you can do so knowing that there is a firewall still in place at server level.

How to turn off ModSecurity:

1. Go to your cPanel account and look for "ModSecurity"

2. Change the Status to "Off" for the domain you want to disable ModSecurity on.
